My name is Rebecca Sehn, and I’m a family & childhood portrait photographer based in Vancouver, Canada. I’m heading to Ireland this summer, and would love to photograph a few families while I am there! I’ve already booked a few families in Paris, but don’t have any contacts in Ireland.
I visited Ireland six years ago and fell in love, even though I only had enough time to visit Dublin and Cork. This time I would love to see a little bit more, particularly Galway & area.
A little bit more on my love affair with Ireland: My older sister played the flute and tin-whistle in an Irish music band here in Vancouver while I was growing up, and so I know and love traditional Irish music. I’ve also always been really attracted to the history and folklore of Ireland, and W.B. Yeats is my favourite poet.
My family and childhood portraits are known in Canada for their beautiful & simple natural backdrops, and I really can’t think of a more perfect country than Ireland for stunning, peaceful scenery. I am so excited for the portraits I’ll be able to capture!
